Colovore Acquires Formerly Leased San Jose Data Center for $37.2M

Colovore, specializing in high-density liquid-cooled data centers, acquired the 29,100 sq ft San Jose facility at 3060 Raymond Street for $37.2M from Ellis Partners. The site, built in 1974 and adjacent to Colovore’s first facility, now hosts SJC02, supporting up to 250kW per cabinet. It opened in March 2025.

Nova Infrastructure Acquires Majority Stake in DartPoints with $250M Investment

Nova Infrastructure acquired a majority stake in DartPoints from Astra Capital, investing $250M with Orion Infrastructure Capital. The funds will support DartPoints’ growth via expansion and acquisitions. Founded in 2012, DartPoints operates 11 data centers in five states, serving 900+ clients including universities, hospitals, and Fortune 500 companies.

Dominion Plans $121M High Voltage Line Buildout for 900MW Data Center in Virginia

Dominion Energy will invest $121 million to build seven miles of 230kV lines in Chesterfield County, Virginia, to power a 900MW hyperscale data center. Construction begins in February 2027 and ends by June 2028. The data center will receive power in three 300MW phases from 2031 to 2033.

PowerTransitions to Redevelop Former Power Plant into 192MW Data Center

PowerTransitions plans to convert an 85-acre former power plant in Kansas City into a 192MW data center. Owned by the Unified Government and BPU, the site was decommissioned in 2019. A 2023 RFP was issued; construction may begin by 2027–2028, faster than greenfield projects.

C3ntro Telecom Launches Tikva: 2,500 km Fiber Network Linking Mexico and U.S.

C3ntro Telecom’s Tikva Project is a 2,500 km underground fiber network connecting Phoenix and Querétaro. It’s the first cross-border long-haul build in 25 years, offering low-latency, multi-duct 100/400/800Gb services. Construction began March 2025, with service by Q4 2026. It targets hyperscalers and links key AI data center hubs.

San José Clears Homeless Camp for Microsoft Data Center Development

A homeless encampment along Alviso-Milpitas Road in San José was cleared for a Microsoft data center campus on a 64-acre site bought in 2017 for $73.2M. Microsoft also plans another campus on a 22-acre site purchased in 2021 for $78M. Construction timelines for both projects remain undisclosed.

Microsoft Pursues Land Rezoning for Larger Indiana Data Center Campus

Microsoft aims to rezone 40 acres of farmland in Indiana, expanding its data center plans near 929 acres bought in 2023 for $77.5M. The land lies southwest of Cleveland and Currant Roads. The Area Plan Commission approved the request; final approval awaits the County Council. Project details remain undisclosed.

Belltown Power Unveils Plans for 1.4GW Data Center Portfolio in North Texas

Belltown Power Texas will develop six data centers in North Texas totaling 1.4GW, targeting hyperscale and AI workloads. One 15MW facility has secured capacity; others are under study. Located near transmission hubs and Dallas–Fort Worth, the projects will integrate with solar and battery storage from Belltown’s 4.6GW development pipeline.

Digital Realty seeks zoning approval for a 400MW data center campus on 156 acres in Charlotte, NC. The plan includes two two-story buildings totaling 3 million sq ft. Previously zoned for warehousing, the wooded site will be developed in two phases, with each building exceeding 1 million sq ft in size.
